PMP – what is it?
Project Management Institute is the organization that certifies PMPs (Project Management Professional) as well as other Project and Program Management certifications. The PMP is a prestigious, valuable credential, boasting some 400K+ individuals who are certified in the US alone. This credential represents that the holder has the experience and the knowledge to see projects through from beginning to end, using a consistent, proven set of processes, allowing for a greatly increased chance of success and professionalism.
