ExecuTrain of Long Island has been contracted with the NYS OGS to help train municipal employees.
Project Management Institute Registered Education Provider (PMI R.E.P.)
PMI is the world’s leading not-for-profit membership association for the project management profession, with more than half a million members and credential holders in 185 countries. There worldwide advocacy for project management is supported by our globally-recognized standards and credentials, extensive research program, and their professional development opportunities. An R.E.P. is an organization approved by PMI to issue professional development units (PDUs) for its training courses. As an R.E.P., ExecuTrain has courses that are available to those seeking PDUs. PMI credentialed members and others that are in project management profession may come to our facility to take courses.
Melville Chamber of Commerce
The Melville-East Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 2002 and is currently operating under the DBA Melville Chamber of Commerce. Their mission is to promote economic and business development throughout the area in a coordinated effort of available resources within the community and the Chamber. As a member of the chamber, ExecuTrain and the Melville Chamber of Commerce have made combined efforts to benefit each other’s business and community goals through advocacy, participation and education.
ASTD LI
The Long Island Chapter of ASTD was chartered in 1963. It now has over 70 members, a percentage of whom are also members of the National ASTD organization. Their members, including ExecuTrain of Long Island, represent financial and educational institutions, retailers, hospitals, high technology firms, manufacturing, government agencies, service industries, construction, tourism, publishing and airlines, as well as independent consultants and students. In addition to the state-of-the-art knowledge gained from attending these meetings, socializing and networking with others in the field are exciting aspects of membership in the Long Island Chapter of ASTD.
